Since joining Clarion Events in 2014, Mike Carlucci has transformed North America’s sales, operations, and service functions as an instrumental leader in driving revenue for Clarion by focusing on sales enablement, building teams, and developing a distinctive and inclusive culture.  Carlucci serves as Chief Operating Officer, leading North America’s sales, operations, and service arm and driving the commercial vision for customer success, partnership, and scaling the sales functions for growth and profitability. In 2023, his role expanded to manage the key attendee team, focused on further developing insight and value driven programs. In addition, he plays a critical role in building quality industry partnerships by aligning stakeholders, needs, and expectations to drive revenue operations and service to deliver experiences seamlessly and consistently.  Through his unwavering dedication to enhancing the customer experience and innate ability to address customer needs, he fosters strong relationships within the business and across the industry to develop and deliver customer-centric strategies and processes that improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.   Prior to joining Clarion, Mike spent 13 years at Reed Exhibitions, advancing to Group Portfolio Director during his tenure, where he oversaw sales on a large portfolio of events, including Global Gaming Expo and The Vision Expos.  He currently serves on the IAEE Board of Directors, the UFI North America Advisory Board, and MGM Resorts International Meetings and Events Advisory Board.   Mike attended Bentley University. He is married with two daughters and lives in Connecticut.

Dan Carter is SVP, Creative+Design at Freeman, overseeing all creative and design teams and projects across North America, having held similar roles in Australia, China, South East Asia and the US. He brings with him over 18 years of experience managing creative, strategy, and design teams, working to build many of the world’s best brands through digital and real-world campaigns, live experiences and events, activations and trade show builds that have exceeded business expectations, wowed audiences and lingered long in the memory of the attendees and guests. He also once launched an Oreo that tasted like a Firework, which…is something, for sure. Dan’s work has been awarded by Cannes Lions, APAC Spikes, The Effies, Ex-Awards, Reggies, Stevies, Hermes Creative Awards and Adweek’s Media Agency of the Year. CEO, Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority
Appointed in January 2020, Larita Clark is the Chief Executive Officer for the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority and is the first African-American woman to hold that position. Most recently, Larita was the Chief Financial Officer and has been with the Authority since 1984. During her tenure with the Authority, Clark held various financial positions including Controller, Director of Finance and Administration of McCormick Place and Assistant Controller. As CEO, Larita is responsible for the entire McCormick Place campus.   As North America’s largest convention center, McCormick Place is one of the City of Chicago and State of Illinois’ greatest economic engines, infusing billions of dollars into the state and local economy. The McCormick Place campus, which includes the convention center, Wintrust Arena, Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Marriott Marquis Chicago, and energy center sustains approximately 17,000 jobs through direct, indirect, and induced effects. In 2023, MPEA welcomed 115 events, representing approximately 2 million visitors. Fiscal Year 2023 marked triumphs with a record $168.4 million in tax revenue, up 6.3% over 2019, with campus operations generating a substantial $2.01 billion in economic impact.  A graduate of Loyola University Chicago and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Clark began her career as an auditor with Peat Marwick Mitchell. A Chicago-native, Clark grew up in West Garfield Park and was class valedictorian at Austin High School.

Danielle is an innovative leader with nearly 20 years of experience building teams that create dynamic experiences for the industries they serve. In her current role as Vice President of Marketing, RE+ Events has doubled its attendance at its largest event, RE+, and successfully incorporated multiple new revenue streams including launching international events. Previously, Danielle led the brand and marketing and communications strategy for a customer experience firm, healthcare association, and other membership organizations.

Kinsey Fabrizio is president of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, which represents more than 1300 consumer technology companies and owns and produces CES® — the most powerful tech event in the world. In this role, Fabrizio sits on CTA’s Executive Board and drives strategy and growth for CES and CTA, leading the CES, Membership, Conferences and Marketing and Communications departments. Since joining the association in 2008, Fabrizio has played a pivotal role in transforming CTA and CES. Most recently, as senior vice president since 2022, she managed all things CES, leading a dramatic expansion of CES sales and overseeing international media events, conferences and show operations. Previously, Fabrizio led efforts to increase member and exhibitor recruitment as lead for strategic growth in emerging tech categories. A pioneer in the digital health space, she also created CTA’s Health Division, a healthcare provider program for doctors launched at CES 2015, and the first Continuing Medical Education (CME)-accredited conference at CES 2019. Recognizing opportunities in content and entertainment, Fabrizio led the Video Division Board’s 4K and 8K TV initiatives and started the Content and Entertainment Council. In 2016, she also established CTA’s Disruptive Innovation Council to engage companies with unique and cutting-edge technologies and services. Fabrizio was awarded the Women in CT Legacy Award in 2023, recognizing her longtime leadership and contributions to the consumer technology industry. She was also named to Dealerscope’s 40 under 40 in 2015. Before joining CTA, Fabrizio worked with SmithBucklin and Northern Virginia Mediation Service. She served on the ASAE Membership Professionals Advisory Council from 2018-2021 and is currently an associate member of the Washington Economic Club. Fabrizio holds a BA from George Mason University and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband, two children and dog Rocco.

President, Manifest and Chief Corporate Development Officer, Connectiv
Courtney Muller lived in eight states before she was 14 years old. Which might be the reason she loves the travel and pace of the events industry! Courtney started her career in events in 1991. Courtney is currently the President of Manifest, a global event focusing on innovation and how technology is transforming the supply chain. Courtney leads the Manifest team and drives all strategic partnerships for the event. Manifest is owned by Connectiv, where Courtney also serves as Chief Corporate Development Officer. Connectiv is a live events studio that creates next generation, experiential, innovative events across a number of industries. Recently Courtney worked for Clarion Events North America where she was Chief Corporate Development and Strategy Officer. In her role she was responsible for acquisitions, new business, partnerships and commercial development for Clarion North America. Courtney also oversaw two acquisitions, InsureTech Connect and The National Grocer’s Association Show. During her 4 year tenure the North American Division of Clarion grew by 4 times, putting them on the map of the leading event organizers in the U.S. Prior to Clarion Events, Courtney was Executive Vice President for Urban Expositions where she oversaw the team and portfolio of almost 35 events. Clarion Events bought Urban in 2016 and Courtney continued on to help build the North American division of Clarion. Courtney has 31 years of trade show and event experience which includes a 20 year career at Reed Exhibitions where she rose to the role of Senior Vice President overseeing a portfolio of 10 industry leading events in five sectors, including multiple Trade Show 200 events (Global Gaming Expo Las Vegas and Macau, The Vision Expos, Interphex and BookExpo America as well as New York Restaurant, Florida Restaurant & Lodging and California Restaurant events). She also oversaw the sponsorship revenue team as well as the conference teams for all U.S. Reed events. Muller is recognized for building strong relationships with association partners and customers. Over her career she has worked with The American Booksellers Association, The American Gaming Association, The Vision Council, The New York State Restaurant Association and the National Indian Gaming Association and the National Grocer’s Association. Courtney’s creative approaches to growing business are exemplified by her strong leadership and team building skills. Throughout her career Courtney has developed award-winning teams that grow businesses, deliver results and create meaningful and lasting relationships with the partners, customers and industries they serve. Her teams have won multiple corporate and industry excellence awards including Fastest 50 honors. Courtney was named as a “Great Woman in Gaming” by Casino Enterprise Management Magazine in 2006. She was also featured on the cover of Trade Show Executive in 2012 as an industry leader. In 2019 Courtney was named one of the 500 most important people in events by BizBash. She has worked as head of the International Committee for IAEE and is a previous board member of SISO (Society of Independent Show Organizers). Notably, Muller was one of the leaders that created SISO Women, she was the first Chair of SISO Women and a driving force for this group that is still active and growing today. Courtney is currently an ambassador for CEOX, an organization that helps elevate women into CEO and board roles. She is recognized as a champion for women in the trade show and events industry and works to elevate, sponsor and mentor women at every level of the industry. Courtney is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She enjoys gardening and cooking and adores the natural beauty of her island home in North Carolina. She and her husband and dog live on the Topsail Island Sound and only steps from the beach! They have three grown children and three grandsons.

Freddie Peterson is the General Manager of the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) and Campus, owned by the City of Miami Beach and managed by Oak View Group. Oak View Group, is a full-service venue management and hospitality company that helps client-partners reimagine the sports, live entertainment, and convention industries for the betterment of the venue, employees, artists, athletes, and surrounding communities.   Following a two-decade tenure at the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) and its five properties, Mr. Peterson has been overseeing day-to-day operations and management of the $640M re-imagined Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) and its 10-acre City Center Campus since 2018.  As a seasoned and innovative convention and hospitality executive, Mr. Peterson provides strategic leadership to the MBCC and its City Center Campus while managing and coordinating the goals, objectives and policies of these City of Miami Beach assets.  His commitment to customer service and excellence in event operations further competitively positions Miami Beach and Miami in the national and international meetings, convention and events industries.  Mr. Peterson is an integral part of the Miami Beach community. He is a member of the Board of Directors at the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce (MBCC), Greater Miami and Beaches Hospitality Association (GMBHA), Lincoln Road Business Improvement District (LRBID) and the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism (AOHT).  Mr. Peterson is active within many industry associations including FVMA, IAEE, PCMA, IAVM, ESCA, AIPC, IAEE and UFI. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association (ESCA) and Florida Venue Managers Association (FVMA).  He has also served on the Board of Directors and a variety of committees within the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM), IAVM’s Foundation and ESCA.   In the past, he has served as Chair of the Seaport Transportation Management Association (STMA) and was a Board Member of A Better City (ABC), Back Bay Association (BBA), Greater Springfield Convention & Visitor’s Bureau (GSCVB), Western MA Sports Commission, South Boston Neighborhood Health Center, South Boston Neighborhood House and the Friends of Fort Point Channel.  Mr. Peterson holds a BA degree in Political Science from Merrimack College. He is a graduate of IAVM’s Venue Management School, Graduate Institute and Senior Executive Symposium and the UMass Boston Emerging Leaders Program. He resides in Miami Beach with his wife Melissa and their Labrador Retriever, Sofie.

Event Vice President, ISC Security Events, RX
Mary Beth Shaughnessy has worked at Reed Exhibitions for 14 years and has been working on ISC Security Events, ISC West and ISC East for 10 of those years. Prior to her role as Event Vice President, she was the ISC Event Director, and Manager of the VIP Attendee program. She currently oversees all show logistics for ISC East and ISC West and is actively involved with many industry partners and organizations. She sits on the Mission 500 board, the Security Industry Association New Product Showcase committee and is a member of the California Alarm Association Women in Security steering committee.
Event Vice President, PGA Golf Exhibitions, RX
Marc Simon, a member of the PGA Show team since 1999, is currently the Event Vice President, overseeing the PGA Show, held annually in Orlando in January, and the PGA Buying Summit, held in Frisco, TX (at the PGA of America HQ) in August. Simon has been involved in the golf industry nearly his entire life. As a player, Simon progressed from top regional amateur to standout player on the Hamilton College golf team, earning Academic All-America Honors and ultimately election to the Town of Kirkland (NY) Sports Hall of Fame in 2008. His golf industry career started out in the pro shop at Skenandoa Golf Course in Clinton, N.Y., he was Sports Information Director at Hamilton for several years, then landed a job in events at George Little Management before progressing to a successful career with Reed Exhibitions on the PGA Golf Shows – beginning in sales and eventually becoming Sales Manager, National Accounts Manager, and Sales Director. Promoted to Group Sales Director in 2010, Simon led the successful effort to bring back all major equipment manufacturers to the Show floor in 2011 and became the Shows’ Event Director in 2014.  Simon has been Awarded Rx’s “People’s Choice” Awards in 2005, 2010, 2011 and 2015, was named Rx Group Sales Director of the Year in 2011 and also was recognized as a 2011 honoree of the Sporting Goods Business 40 Under 40 Award. Simon was recently honored with Rx’s “Leader of the Year” Award in both 2021 and 2023. The PGA Show has twice been awarded the prestigious Gold 100 “Greatest Show” designation by Trade Show Executive Magazine under Simon’s leadership.
